There is no science homework tonight.

You should have recieved an email outlining two of our up coming field trips. The cost for families who are not members of Dawgs 360 is $20.00 due to the student homeroom teacher Wednesday, November 8th.

There are still several spots available for parent chaperones if you would like to go to Gwinnett Environmental Center with us next Thursday, November 9th. I will need to know if you are available by the end of the day tomorrow.

Over the weekend i would recommend that you start looking over the material for Chapter Four  preparing for the test we will taking Tuesday in class. Below I have included Quizlets for you to use when studying. I am offer three extra credit points on the test if you will you make a ninety on the Quizlet test for one of the study sets. Over the weekend you should start working on the Rock and Mineral Collection Project I assigned in class. I have set an outline for this project but you can design it however you would like. I encourage the use of poster boards or shoe boxes/ lids but it is up to you. Below I have included some examples that you can look at and the rubric that I will be using to grade the project. Due to the threat of storms from Hurricane Irma Dr. Dolan has cancelled school for tomorrow as well. Wednesday when we return to school we will play a review game and the Nature of Science test has been pushed back to Thursday.
